Welcome to Camp Harley. This will be our 21st year of providing a safe, smaller, clean place for visitors to relax and enjoy the beautiful Black Hills area. Plenty of green grass, mature shade trees and a location right next to scenic Spearfish Canyon. A little history about Camp Harley…. A little mixed, yellow lab dog of mine comes into play when during the first year when some of the campers were discussing the world’s problems and how to fix it all over a couple of beers. Harley likes people and the guests liked Harley. A friendly dog who rarely barked and was always happy to see anyone. The question of what I was going to call this campground came up and the vote was to name it after my dog… thus Camp Harley was born.

This campground is rather informal in any kind of rules…and what I mean by that is we really don’t have a check-in time or a check-out time. All we ask is that you respect your neighbors and treat them as you would want to be treated. We do have a full kitchen if you desire to cook a meal, please help yourself. All I ask is that you clean up after yourself. We do have a propane grill, a beer refrigerator, picnic tables, indoor and outdoor facilities with city water to supply the place. Our campground is licensed by the State of South Dakota and we do go through a state health examination. We are limited in electrical hookups and by the amount of property we have. We are tent, camper, small RV, small Fifth wheel camper type of place. I’m sorry but we cannot handle RV buses. We are located at 555 Winterville Dr., Spearfish, SD 57783.
